Re: Chernobyl 4K UHD

Thanks for posting that, I was thinking I would have to import that from the US :D Yep. I find it very strange that they didn’t release it in 4K in the UK. I had to pre-order from Amazon.fr I noticed on my UK Blu-ray copy the episodes start with "Sky Presents, in association with HBO Miniserie...

Re: Star Wars The Last Jedi 4K - PSA

Sounds about right. Personally I’ve Have had a few discs recently that wouldn’t read with NS60 FW including The Shining, BTTF 1&2 and then a few that would only read with NS60 FW including BTTF3 but then many others that worked with any firmware.

Re: Back to the Future UHD - Retail

A lot of people have had issues with this set. Most people report that an extreme cleaning the of discs has resolved their issues. Some people have had success turning the speed control off/down in the registry, although if you've never set this in the past it wont be causing an issue. Some people h...

Re: Back to the Future won't read on my ASUS drive

The answer is no. Go look at our game of thrones thread. You'll see how big this problem really is. I have 3 drives on ns60 firmware, 2 of which are actual ns60 drives. I've locked them to 2x using speed control which is how I finally got bttf ripped. Disc 1 took me 5 tries. GoT I've been at for da...

I don't think I've seen this before on a disc either.

Re: The Fifth Element UHD/4K

I see what has happening here. The stream starts off as 7.1THD for the Studiocanal ident but then switches to atmos for the film. Mediainfo is only picking up on the first part of the stream and correctly reporting the 7.1 discrete channels. If you use TSmuxer to chop out a minute sample from 5 minu...

Re: The Fifth Element UHD/4K

I get the same as you for the UK version, just a plain old 7.1 THD.

Fancy de-muxing, raring and sending the US audio track to me via mega?

Re: Back To The Future Part III UK Copy Not Working At All

If the user doesn’t know how to change the registry speed settings then there is no chance that any have been set as Makemkv won’t add these automatically. So the problem won’t be with those settings. I don’t believe the issue with the UK Bttf3 discs is just down to deposits on the disc as I cleaned...

Re: Star Wars 4Ks

I've only got IV V and VI individually purchased UK versions and the reported bitrates (MediaInfo) are:

IV - 47.8 Mb/s
V - 49.7 Mb/s
VI - 42.0 Mb/s

From memory there were only three main feature playlists on the disc, each having different start credits written in EN FR and DE languages.

Re: Back to the Future won't read on my ASUS drive

Is ANYBODY else having issues with Part 3? I've tried just about everything I can think of and I absolutely cant get it to rip past a certain point in the 00294.m2ts file. 2 different machines, different firmwares/OS's, different software versions, cleaned disc, exchanged disc. Nothing works. It al...

Re: The Goonies 4K Ultra HD = The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted

There must be a serious difficulty with the encryption on this title as Mike is normally very quick to work his magic on other titles.

DVD fab passkey uses deUHD’s database so Arusoft must use a different method to Mike which has worked on this title.
