Although, 4K disks are more likely to have issues with keys when new, so automatic ripping may be a problem with fresh disks. somewhere along the log. That says it cannot download keys, which will prevent you from accessing anything your system doesn't have they key for yet.

UHD didn't start shipping until almost two years after this drive was built, so it doesn't add anything to your capabilities.

You need to find out why the download is failing. Most likely, your system is blocking resolution of the path to the server, for "security". It's a common thing nowadays.

What error messages are you receiving? "Won't open" is very ambiguous without the logs. You do not have to "attach" them, just post them in the message.

You're encountering errors in reading. Two possibilities - dirty disk, or drive trying to read faster than it has power to do.
