That's what I'm saying. They should also be marked as Forced.
Sometimes they're not the default track and may be its own track.

Forced Subtitles
Feature-Request
* Apply Forced FLAG to Forced Subtitles (if they exist)
This should be automatic and will greatly aid in identifying created subtitle tracks in the MKV later.
Please add a "f" flag next to "d" flag. "df" Default/Forced to Forced Subtitles

Re: Is DTS:X going to be available?
It's just an extension to DTS-HD MA, so it's supported. It's just an extra bit of metadata that MakeMKV cannot yet decode, just like Dolby Atmos. It will copy the stream as is, with the metadata intact. There are currently no software players or filters capable of playing back either DTS:X or Atmos,...

Re: encode multiple subtitle tracks
Why not just use Handbrake to make the video smaller and then add the subtitles back in with mkvmerge.
Better yet, just keep the remux.

I prefer LPCM to DTS-HD MA, but to each his own.

Re: MKV separate forced & full subtitles
The selected method is the correct way to rip the movie.
If the film does not contain forced subs, then the track will be discarded.

ARROW: The Complete First Season
Seems I ran into any issue with ARROW, so I enabled AnyDVD just to be safe and not waste time extracting it again. AACS MKB version 42. MakeMKV said it was a new version and asked to send info, so I did, but I didn't trust it in processing the disc correctly. Came out perfect with AnyDVD, but just t...

Re: Unable to open ISO for Man of Steel 3D trailer
I mounted it as an ISO in Windows 8 and AnyDVD took care of the rest.
Is there a reason why MakeMKV discourages AnyDVD usage?

I wouldn't call 11MB/s heavy.
I play 35MB/s remuxes on my WD TV Live and they play fine.

Sometimes it may hit 4X, but is usually at 2X MAX. It's frustrating. Just get a newer LG drive, you won't be sorry.

Re: MKV not showing imbedded subtitles
Same problem on WD TV Live.
Fix is simple enough...run the MKV through mmkvmerge and it will add zlib compression. Most players require this.

Re: The Wild Geese, mkv not work properly on WD TV Live.
If the sound is LPCM, you'll run into issues. Either convert the sound to FLAC or to DTS-HD MA (to keep it lossless).
