Re: Feature Requests
You can already uncheck everything using a conversion profile.tron21net wrote:It would be very helpful to be able to right-click on a title and do Recursively Uncheck All in order to uncheck everything(all checkboxes) so that way I can go in and just check items that I actually want to keep.

Has it ever been? I had no problems ripping BDs with VC-1 (other than it's a crappy M$ codec, of course).VanZan wrote:I notice the codec is VC-1...is this still a problem for MakeMKV?

Why go on iTunes, when you can playback the episodes on your computer and check the length there?MBPi7 wrote:Additional Suggestion - Especially on TV shows, check i-Tunes or Wikipedia for length of movie/show and in makemkv you can see the duration of file.

Re: SD vs HD from Blu-ray??
You check only "forced only" if all you need is Avatar/Star Trek subs. Unfortunately the routine does not work in 100% of the cases. If there are are multiple subs you can either extract them all and check them with BDSUP2SUB but an easier way is to watch them in a software player like Pow...

No, that's done with conversion profiles as explained in the advanced usage section of this forum.PeacePipe wrote:but will not permit batch deselection of the many options such as: audio, languages, subtitles, etc left in the remaining titles.

Which can be done just now by selecting a minimum title length.PeacePipe wrote:This would prevent the current chore having to disable the dozens of unwanted options and leaving only the ones desired.

Re: Getting subtitles on foreign films
You could use DVDfab passkey or AnyDVD in the background to encode straight with Handbrake. Haven't tried this myself though.

Re: Getting subtitles on foreign films
It looks to me like Handbrake is just not putting subtitles into the output MKV file, even though English Subtitles are checked. Whatever sub is checked is put into the MKV by MakeMKV, have you verified this before resizing the MKV with Handbrake? And why use MakeMKV when you want to compress anyway...

I also can't imagine why the usual remote keys in XBMC should be unavailable while streaming. I'm pretty sure you can cycle through audio/subtitle streams.
