Re: Problematic HD-DVDs
Just thought I'd share. I downloaded the latest version of MakeMKV and now Transformers, Black Snake Moan, Babel, and Into the Wild all work now! Just one more disc for me that still doesn't work: Pan's Labyrinth. Still gets and "unable to read disc" error. This is my last one, and I'll b...

Re: Blu Ray greater then 50gb?
Hi Nick,
MakeMKV is behaving correctly. MKVs dont support seemless branching so a seperate file has to be created for each branch. Just choose the branch that applies to your language and dont tick the other unecessay branches (AKA titles).

LG PK590 plasma
I just wanted to mention that LG seems to have made some big steps forward with MKV Support in their new products. My new TV streams MKVs with MPEG2 video perfectly, it can stream very high rate video in MPEG4 (Eg. Avatar) without issue too. A couple of small bugs remain such as stutters in some VC-...

Request for 2 small tweaks for multi drive users
Generally using multiple instances works well but there are 2 tweaks that would really help: 1) Disable disc detection on insert. This interrupts rips in progress and can occasionally cause them to stall completely, an option to disable it would be great. 2) Debug output filename - Would be good if ...

Re: Problematic HD-DVDs
Any chance an option could be added to make debug file names with the Disc Volume ID? I will add debug logs later, its difficult when ripping with multiple instances to use Debug. 1.6.0 is a massive improvement. 1) Babel 2) Paramount 3) Mpeg4 4) DDPlus 5.1 5) Fails at end (Verification?) 1 )Batman B...

No Special support is possible or needed for 3d DVD, it just a standard DVD which you need to where red and green glasses for.speed32219 wrote:Does this only apply to BluRay?

Re: Program reads faster...?
Thanks Mike ....yes it's an external, is there anyway to make an mkv on a FAT partition then? Fat 32 partitions have a file size limit of 4GB. It doesnt matter if the file is MKV, TXT or anything else, the limit is 4GB per file with Fat 32. If you dont need the data on this drive and are running at...

Re: Broken DVD - MakeMKV Fails - Other tools fix
I understand it is a matter of opinion but my own opinion is that as long as the user is clearly warned I dont see issue in "patching" minor errors.
