Re: Subtitles are removed
From the picture you have selected six subtitle tracks (3 tracks with the forced part with are extracted from the normal track and the 3 normal tracks). The Make MKV msg indicates that only 3 of the 6 are empty and removed. So the other 3 subtitle tracks must be there. Please note, you must select t...

Re: External HDD Storage (and Recovery) Recommendations
Synology 12-drive media server configured in RAID-6 mode gives me very high availibility because two drives can fail without any interrupt. Any single drive solution (Internal oder External drive) will fail and the data is lost if no backup exists.

Re: Subtitles
The subtitlles have the same look as on the original disc. MakeMKV does only copy the disc content to mkv files.

Re: Patti Cake$ no FUT MakeMKV 1.10.7
If MakeMKV signals "No FUT" created and you proceed with the copy, the content has some errors in it. The picture shows artefacts and so on. To fix this (an SVQ is created or upadeted) a complete new MakeMKV run by using the blu-ray is needed, it does not work with the created mkv file. Th...

Re: Fps question
The typical framerate on Blu-ray is 23.976 fps. MakeMKV does no conversion, it only decrypts the content and writes it to the MKV file. So do not change the framerate in Handbrake or others tools like VidCoder, always keep the original fps.

Re: different problems
It is possible the English translation of the Elvish is part of the video, and not a subtitle track; I don't have any of the Hobbit/LOTR movies, so I can't help on that. What are you using for playback? VLC (from videolan.org) understands Bluray subtitles in MKV files, and allows you to easily sele...

When I use that command I get this message from notepad ... Cannot find the C:\Users\NameMakeMKV-log.txt file. Do you want to create a new file?" Please note, that the Term "Users" is different in the various Windows Version and Languages. MakeMKV says also for me "C:\Users\.......

Re: NewBie Ripper
I have a Synology server and use their DS Video software for playback on WiFi capable TV's so far. After ripping a movie, I transferred two smaller titles to my server. DS Video on the TV's asks me to select a title to play. They all come up as the movie. The DS Video does not differentiate between...

Re: MakeMKV Output Folder Default with All-Caps Named After
Have you checked this problem: http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=15116
Sounds like you miss the appending of the disc name to the output folder. Mike has confirmed that this is a bug and it w'll be fixed soon.

Re: Version 1.10.2 - Trouble with the "semi-auto" Option
Yes, that's right. The last Output Folder name is remembered and used without appending the actual disc name, which is the sense of the semi-auto option.

Version 1.10.2 - Trouble with the "semi-auto" Option
Hi, I used MakeMKV since serval years, great tool and support  Now to the problem. I've upgraded from 1.10.1 to 1.10.2, all works well, AACS 6.2 is now supported. I used "Semi-Auto" for the Output Folder all the time and it works. But I have the need change the Output Folder name due...
