What firmware version is on your drive? 1.02 Are you sure? My WH16NS60 has 1.01 (which is the latest on LG's site, and the Japanese-only HLDS site), and it's flat refusing. The BC-12B1ST is a good little drive. As pointed out it can be flashed with the BW-16D1HT friendly firmware. If you should need one of these I'm happy to supply one.
