Re: Keep DTS-HD MA Only?
What tracks are really on the Blu Ray? If an DTS MA track (an a HD track) is available, the DTS Core is imbeeded in the HD track as the base. There is no seperate DTS 5.1 (the Core) track. The DTS Core is extracted from the DTS MA track. Of cource, there can be an extra DTS 5.1 track, but then Make...

Re: Keep DTS-HD MA Only?
Right, there is no need to save both DTS tracks. If you save the DTS MA (very huge, abut 4GB and more), you can extract the DTS Core later with some tools from it. Normaly, if DTS MA is not supported, the player or Software cannot see the DTS MA extention of the DTS Core and playes the DTS Core. To ...

Re: Problems converting from file structure to mkv
Please do not always mix your two problems with PCM audio and the corrupt video display. And we still not know what your "Receiver" is (this can be anything). Once more, if the "Receiver" did not notify the PC about the supported video and audio formats, the PC can downmix the au...

Re: Problems converting from file structure to mkv
Next, I tried using MakeMKV to convert that BDMV to MKV, and now the audio is compressed to two channel PCM, and I’m getting big blotchy patches of pixelation, especially when I change chapters. Have you checked the created MKV file with MediaInfo? As Woodstock says, MakeMKV has no option to cnvert...

Re: My Own Private Idaho (Criterion) Disc 2
I think the reason for this is very simple. MakMKV is not designed to select audio only titles. MK V (Video and Audio) versus MK A (Only audio) container. You must use an other tool to make an decryted back up to get the VTS VOB files (if the audio is stored in VOB (Video Object) files. After this y...

Re: Misleading Claim about Read Errors
Out of a batch of all perfect looking discs, about half of them won't complete a rip with MakeMKV. Sorry to say it, but I cannot confirm your statement. 99,9% of my ripped discs completes without any errors, the 0,01% left are bad discs and the replacement works or the rip works on an different pla...

Re: Batman Beyond - The Complete Series
Is the higher AACS something MakeMKV will eventually update for so that Libredrive is not needed? Because if it is I am tempted to just wait for the update rather than try to figure Libredrive out Yes, but you should pass the created AACS Dump to support@makemkv.com that someone can takd a look in ...

Re: External drive: no longer shows disc inside
The OS is detecting (or not) the disc, not MakeMKV. I think the disc could not be read for any reason. Looks like that the drive is defect.
