Re: Casino Royale & SPECTRE UHD Disc Errors

This is usually the mark of an under-powered external drive resetting under load. Try.

- Using BOTH of the USB Y-cable plugs
- Using a different USB port(s).
- Using an externally powered USB hub.
- If powered external enclosure, check power connection (supply?).

Re: BU40N NO SVC code is it safe to flash

No worries. It's easy to get lost in all the "noise" in a forum. Stick w/ the guide (1st post), which is regularly maintained, & you'll at least have current intel.

Re: BU40N NO SVC code is it safe to flash

The SVC code requirement is specific to LG drives w/ 2 different HW versions like *H14NS40/*H16NS40. In these cases, SVC NS50 drives were made AFTER ~Oct 2015 using a different, UHD capable chipset. Rather than being hung up on labels, the Drive/LibreDrive Information output of MakeMKV is (IMO) easi...

It does not. Firmware says original. Where you put yes or enabled all say possible with patched firmware.

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2022

I have the Pioneer BDR-S12UHT recorder and player. Read original UHD blu-ray but could not play due to processor issue. The problem is that I want to remove the anti copy with MakeMKV and I get the error shown in the image. Is this model compatible? or the error is due to something else that I do n...

Is there any fix for the screenpass issue? Ripped my copy to play on my Oppo UDP-203 and just get a black screen when starting.

Re: Paid for software now in evaluation stage

For future reference… As for keeping licenses… I typically export the email as a PDF and save the .pdf file in a directory in my Documents folder. This way it gets backed up with Time Machine. As long as all your licenses and such end up in the same place, you should be able to find it again in the...

Re: Paid for software now in evaluation stage

Sorry you had to take the round-about route. Since you had the old drive, I was shooting for a quick 'n' dirty solution There is no plaintext (user readable) config, but that .tar file contained your key & MakeMKV could have read it if copied the correct location. Mike'll get you sorted.

Re: Paid for software now in evaluation stage

MakeMKV data folder is defined in MakeMKV app > Preferences (wrench icon in menu bar) > General tab. The default location would typically be a '.MakeMKV' folder (note the leading '.' , hidden) in your user's home directory. https://www.cnet.com/tech/computing/how-to-find-your-macs-home-folder-and-ad...
