Re: PS3 Ubuntu with MakeMKV
you can use ps3 drive over network but it will bring no good. ps3 drive can read data but it can't read a required key precursor from the disc since it's blocked by ps3 hypervisor.

Re: How to get the main movie if its more then 1 stream
The streams you refer to are so-called secondary video streams. They are not part of the main movie. Are you saying that for this disc the start of main movie is missing? It sounds like an error, please send all *.clpi and all *.mpls files from disc compressed with archiver of your choice to support...

Released today. Are you planning to implement PGS subtitle renderer? Do you have documentation for the format?

Re: Direct Access on OS X
In a near future MakeMKV will use OS support for blu-ray discs introduced in Leopard, so no patching or direct access would be required.

Re: Rip bluray to HD with TrueHD or MTS
yes it does.hitekakex wrote:I haven't tried 1.4.10 yet, but hopefully it still support extraction of AC3/DTS cores (in the way 1.4.9 does).. I convert my MKV's to M4V/Apple TV, and TrueHD/MTS are useless for me.
Can someone confirm.

Re: 1.4.9 to 1.4.10
Sigh. This is confirmed for some blu-ray discs that use seamless branching and have hd audio tracks. Corrected in 1.4.11 .

Re: Rip bluray to HD with TrueHD or MTS
This is confirmed. 1.4.10 puts HD-audio into MKV in a wrong way. most software fails on it although the data stream itself is not corrupted. 1.4.11 is on its way and will correct this error.
