Thanks for suggestions!
Iso 639-3 shows "deu" as preferred over "ger" so the program just followed. It can be easily changed but please just confirm that always changing "deu" to "ger" will not break anything (that you know about )

Re: Is there support for BD+ ?
Mike.....been loving this program to back-up the bluray discs I own and stream via my PS3MS. 1) Is there any advantage to using a registered or full copy vs beta and is there such a copy? MakeMKV is currently in beta - there is only one beta version and it has no restricitions. 2) It seems that whe...

Re: Problems ripping Blu-Ray Funny People US Region
you can't just copy files and open the copy, I've asked you to copy in order to see if it is any problem with the disc or drive. you mentioned "attempts", what kind of error was happening when you copied files?

Re: Forced Subtitles
There is no distinction yet. But if subtitles are hard subtitles (burnt into video) then of course they will be always preserved.

Re: Blu Ray Question
The error is very generic and it looks like data is corrupted occasionally, so it happens only for the long title. I would blame usb cable. To confirm, try the same disc again and see if it fails and in same place or not.

that really depends on a player that you use. some players can use hardware acceleration, some don't.

Re: Use .m2ts but no index.bdmv?
This is still my problem, and there doesn't seem to be any changes with MakeMKV for almost a year. :( I have a directory structure for an unencrypted Blu-Ray, and I can play it fine, but I would like to mux it into MKV to add subtitles. Unfortunately it always fails with the above mentioned error. ...

Re: MakeMKV for Popcorn Hour C-200
are there any plans to get GUI (x-server) support ?
Please PM me with instructions on how to get a toolchain - I assume that it is standard mipls-linux little-endian buildroot, but what libraries are on device?

Re: Writing application : MakeMKV v1.4.9 beta win(x86-release)
Why would you want to change it - it is just a piece of metadata that does not affect anything. The version is needed there per matroska spec. If you really want to get rid of it you may run the MKV file through mkvtoolnix - it will replace writing app with mkvtoolnix. But I would like to understand...

Re: MakeMKV for Popcorn Hour C-200
yes, but command-line options are somewhat limited. Please try to recompile open-source part first - libdriveio and libmakemkv and let me know how it goes. Also, please describe why do you need it (what is your usage scenario) - maybe you wouldn't need to run it on the device in a first place.

Re: Combining multiple titles to one movie.mkv file
We do not understand each other. Normally any disc, BD or DVD, contains multiple so-called titles. One of the titles is a main movie but additional titles usually contain trailers, interviews and studio logos - whatever was authored on disc. MakeMKV saves each title into separate files, as they are ...

Everyone who encounters AHCI problem, please provide the following information: Are you using built-in windows drivers or intel matrix drivers and what driver version do you have? You can get this information in device manager, "driver" tab. Thanks.
