Re: "SPY" BluRay - Code processed but not FUT's were obtaine
When dealing with BD+ issues, it is rare that there will be a formal notification of it being fixed. If you have updates enabled for MakeMKV, it will simply pick up the SVQ file for the disk if it needs it, once Mike creates it. And then the rip will proceed without FUT errors. It's really a case of...

Re: the price
This discussion comes up regularly. What is the software's value TO YOU? If it is less than the price asked, then you aren't barred from using it, you just have to put up with the inconvenience of periodically updating the key. If it is at least the price asked, what is the reason NOT to? Mike has s...

Re: MKV files keep playing endlessly, how to STOP?
There is nothing I know of in MakeMKV that could create a file that auto-repeats.
What happens if you play the file in question on a computer using VLC?

It would also be possible that you've found a disk somewhere that has AACS version 58 on it, and that version zaps the current MakeMKV key... Can you still rip DVDs?
I've tested MakeMKV with AACS v57 this week, and it worked - Mike had only tested to v56 when he released 1.9.5.

Re: Beta Key expired
Looking at a message that is almost 6 months old posted by someone other than Mike isn't going to find the key... Just saying.... ;) Mike updated the "free while in beta" message today with a new key. That's the message to check, even though it never changes its date: http://makemkv.com/fo...

Re: MKV files keep playing endlessly, how to STOP?
OK, confusion here... You say the problem is that your player keeps repeating the MKV file, but that the suggested cause for it doing that isn't the problem, because it would keep repeating the MKV file if it was?

Re: MakeMKV creates .tgz files
No FUTs is an informational message... but it is best to treat it as an error, simply because the result is usually unusable. I've processed about a dozen disks this week with v1.9.5, and the only .tgz files it has created is one for Beyond the Boundary, because it has v57 AACS ... really should for...

Re: Subtitles problem : doesn't appear on my Panasonic or Op
Are the subtitles from a bluray disk?
A lot of TVs can only handle TEXT subtitles, unless they're burned into the video. There are a few that can handle the graphic subtitles in DVD format.
The Oppo should work with the PGS subtitles from and MKV file, if the firmware is up to date.

Re: MakeMKV creates .tgz files
Check your settings - in Preferences, Protection, there is a setting to "Always create BD+ dumps". If it's checked, a BD+ dump will be created whenever a BD has BD+ protection, even if MakeMKV can figure it out. With it unchecked, the .tgz file will only be created if you get the "No ...

Re: Poltergeist 2015 Getting the "BD+ code processed but not
http://www.makemkv.com/svq/ has information about the error itself. When the error pops up, there should be a path to a .tgz file, and a note to send it in for analysis. The address is in the link above. Mike has to analyze the BD+ programming and build the work-around. The .tgz file has what he nee...

Re: Forced Subs on Blu-Ray seems a bit random?
Subtitles are ... an interesting study in preferences at the studio level. Dealing with subtitles on just about everything I rip, I find that the most often used method is two tracks for each language. One contains "everything", one contains only the so-called "forced" subtitles,...
