Anyone else having problems ripping the new Eastern Promises 4k disc? I would send it in but I forgot the email address to send .tgz file.

It's not looking good IMO since I just tried again after 3 days and still doesn't work. It may be a disc that can't be ripped?

Thanks, I tried with a 2nd optical drive and it still failed. I sent the .log file to support@makemkv.com so hopefully they will be able to fix.

I couldn't find a log file but I created one from the information on the MakeMKV window after the failure. I've attached it here.

Glad you sent it! I didn't because someone on this thread had mentioned sending the whole series as a dump. Didn't think I needed to if the whole series was sent.

I couldn't get one of the season 1 disks (E4 - E6) to work.

I just started to rip the first season but the 2nd disk (episodes 4 - 6) don't work. I got this message:

The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted

Strange since season 1 has been out before on UHD format?

Thanks, it took a while but I finally got it working. I'm watching "Gemini Man" 4k in Dolby Vision and Atmos. I noticed that the .ts file is around 5 GB more than the .mkv file. Is this expected?

Where do you get the m2ts from? Is that inside BDMV somewhere? If so I assume you need an unencrypted backup?

How do you create the "unencrypted backup"?
