Paranormal Activity 4 Blyray flashed drive?
Ever since I tried to rip Paranormal Activity 4 on Bluray I've been getting key errors while opening discs both in Windows and Mac. The only way I can rip right now is in Windows using AnyDVD HD in combination with MakeMKV.

I was able to rip all episodes off disc 1 without any issues. Perhaps you have a bad disc?

Re: Friends Blu Ray Collection
Got all mine ripped. Huge pain in the you know what. I ended up doing it through Windows using AnyDVD HD and Handbrake. Pay careful attention to the audio tracks though. Some titles in Handbrake will be the directors commentary title. You'll know this by it being 2.0 not 5.1. For those, note the fil...

Mine should be here on Saturday. I'll give it a try and post my results if you don't get any responses.

Well worth $50 in my opinion. Glad I bought a license too.

Which file
Based upon your picture, it looks like the particular movie you've inserted may have a theatrical and extended version. This is common and usually the extended version is larger in size and the play time is slightly longer. Or... The DVD may have 2 separate movies on it. As for the small files, they...

How to make the output filesize for a BR smaller
I usually queue up 4 movies and let them run overnight while sleeping. On average each Blu-ray takes about 2 hours to do on my 13" 2012 MacBook Pro.

site down (hacked?), and spam
Glad the the site is back up and running. I had Googled the issue and seems that a lot people on various forums such as Slysoft were concerned for various reasons.
Welcome back Mike!

I agree with Dave. I make my MKV's then run them through HandBrake in the "normal" preset. A word of advice, remember to select "large file format" (I think it's called) or you won't be able to watch HD content. I do this process for all my DVD's and Bluray's then use iTunes Home...

When you pay for the license MakeMKV is not time limited and will continue to work even if the beta key expires. As I understand it, it includes lifetime updates. You can install using your same key on multiple computers however, per the license agreement you can only use it one one computer at a ti...

Windows MakeMKV Can't Write to HFS+ with MacDrive
I don't think this is going to be possible but, I may be wrong. I too have a Mac and dual boot with bootcamp Windows 7. What I do is have an external hard drive partitioned in half. One half is HFS+ the other NTFS. This allows me to make MKV files in whichever OS I'm in at that moment.
