I take it the protection 2.1 on Stand By Me is the same as Fury and The Patriot which if I understand correctly cannot be decrypted yet.

Believe me the protection is aacs 2.1 it's on the dump file also the first page when it tries to decrypt the file up in big letters 2.1 protection. As you may have guessed my computer skills are limited ! taken from the dump file it reads mkb21 stand by me 71ce tgz. I sent the file on Tuesday to Mike but have not noticed any change in behaviour of the decryption. He is a busy man so this is probably not at the top of his to do list.

As I don't even know what a hex editor is you can forget that side of things. I saw the version given as aacs 2.1/c v70 so that's where I get 2.1 the other movies in the folder show 2.0 . Sorry if that's not enough.

it was never my intention to spam or whatever, I thought no one was paying any attention to what I thought was something important ie another 4k disc with 2.1 protection on it. But it seems I was wrong and no one was interested so in future I will keep my observations to myself.
