If it does not rip, then the fault is not with MakeMKV as I've successfully backed up this title. Per Blu-Ray.com, there is no new remastering of this title; repackaging yes but nothing more. Please post an error report if your copy does not rip.

You are posting only 2 lines of the error. What has been requested, more than once, is the entirety of the disc/error report, not just the final error message. As an example of what I mean (no errors here but hopefully this helps, make sure debug logging is enabled): MakeMKV v1.10.7 win(x64-release)...
