Re: 3D MVC Option

When someone states "the software works perfectly" and acts like an a-hole then no, it's not mostly my fault. What was my fault was taking the first Directshow Google link to download ffdshow from 2004 which had nothing of value to me. I've corrected that mistake. However, Stereoscopic is ...

Re: 3D MVC Option

So it's all my fault and had nothing to do with a rinky-dink piece of software from Russia? Right. Glad you are here to help and not act like a jack-ass.

Re: 3D MVC Option

Well I've installed Stereoscopic and ffdshow. SCP plays regular MKV files but without HD audio. It does nothing with MVC MKV files however. Just sits at a black screen for 5 minutes until the trail time runs out and exits. Certainly not a viable option nor worth 39 euros.

Re: 3D MVC Option

/\ Thanks. I have XBMC streaming HD audio for all my non-3D MKV files with no issues but I don't have Directshow or anything else installed. I also have XBMC launching PowerDVD to play back my 3D ISO files which is slow, cumbersome, creates delays in audio and causes subtitle issues. As well if does...

Re: 3D MVC Option

Stereoscopic Player plays the MKV MVC files ripped by MakeMKV perfectly. http://www.3dtv.at/products/Player/Index_en.aspx I use Stereoscopic Player on my HTPC as my external player for XBMC and XBMC automatically launches Stereoscopic Player to play the files as required. No problems at all. 100 ti...

Re: 3D MVC Option

So no recent news on this subject? Would LOVE to get a working MVC 3D MKV player to use with XBMC and avoid all the crap I'm dealing with ripping ISO files and having to use Cinavia infected programs like PDVD and TMT.

Re: 3D MVC Option

Not sure how CyberLink can says playback of a new-ish format isn't their issue to resolve. MakeMKV makes the 3D MKV files. PowerDVD needs to play them back, properly. That's up to the software developers to figure out how to play the format, not the format creators to figure out how to conform to th...

Re: 3D MVC Option

You're right. Just checked, it's still using Software Decoding. Only stereoscopic player @ 3dtv.at can play 3D MKV MVC. But it doesn't play it that well, and with no HD Audio. Step in the right direction but still not where we'd like it to be. If you install ffmpeg like it says in the install instr...

Have you tried cleaning the disc?
Yes, tried that a couple times. Same error keeps happening.

Tried it again, got to 16 seconds remaining and then it crashed. Tried to log the error but not sure it worked. Bloody frustrating!

Problem ripping Spartacus BaS Episode 1

I've tried multiple times, on 2 different machines, to rip Spartacus Blood and Sand season 1 episode 1 and it's failed every single time. It gets to about 56 seconds remaining and then the time starts to climb and climb and climb until I just get a fail message. It's the only episode of the series I...

Problems ripping discs....

I'm sure this has been covered before so I apologize in advance but I've had some trouble ripping a few Blu-rays and not sure how to solve them. Usually there is an error that see's the estimated time remaining begin to climb up and up until the rip fails and I'll try again or use a different PC and...

Re: 3D MVC Option

I've been trying to get PowerDVD13 to play full 3D MVC MKV files but I don't think it's working as desired. I believe it's just software rendered 3D which is also causing stuttering in the video playback. Though when I play the same 3D BD ISO using virtual clone drive I get a white line on the right...
