Re: Feature Request - Show Duplicate Titles
I can't remember which disk it was now, but the below should give an idea of what's happening. The below is easy to determine, because every episode is in title 1, and the segment maps are sequential. Other discs I've worked with aren't as easy Title values http://i.imgur.com/zYySySC.gif In the log ...

Feature Request - Show Duplicate Titles
[Backstory] So I've been working my way through some TV series, and most discs are ok. Some, however, have the pleasure of picking up titles from the "Every Episode in one title" and some are in their own title (eg, title 1 is all episodes, but title 2 is episode 1, title 3 is episode 2, ...

Re: Version 1.10.2 - Trouble with the "semi-auto" Option
I'm sure it's known, but I'd like to add that Custom is broken as well (likely the same issue). Using 3 instances, the third instance I set the Custom location in Preferences, then loaded the disc. It then went to a previous directory instead of what it should have been as set in the Custom director...

Re: New beta key?
Welcome to the Forum.
As with every time this question comes up, the Beta key can always be found at the following page: http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1053
Copy the key, then paste it into the "Register" field in the program.
Enjoy

Re: Control over data rate / image quality?
You say you don't want to recode, then ask for options on recoding. MakeMKV is a tool to extract the video and audio / subtitle streams from a disc, and store them in an MKV file. The video stream stored in the MKV file is the exact same as was on the disc (a bit for bit copy). and therefore it is i...

@osterwal,
This could be a permissions issue. If the completed files are in the Temp folder, it could be an issue moving it to the final destination - is the program running as a user that has permission to write to the final destination folder? Does it work if you Run as Administrator?

Re: MakeMKV won't decrypt
If it's a new disc, or a 4K movie, MakeMKV may not have the AACS Key to read it properly. In the case of it being a new disc, you'll just have to wait for a new version of MakeMKV. If it's a 4K disc, it won't be readable until the AACS 2.0 standard has been broken.

Re: Audio issues with Blu-ray ripping
Fate is the hunter doesn't seem to have any sound<sigh> What are you playing them back in? It could be that the playback software is incapable of playing back the audio format in the Fate is the Hunter file. The best measure to test is to use VLC Media Player, which plays back basically all audio a...

Re: Correct .mpls for Criminal
It doesn't mark any title or give any indication as to what the main movie or correct title is. Are you working directly off the disc, off an encrypted backup, or off a decrypted backup? BD-Java decryption doesn't work from a decrypted backup as of yet, but direct off the disc OR from an encrypted ...

Which movies? This can happen with new releases that there isn't an SVQ file for yet. If you can, send a report through to Mike per the instructions at http://www.makemkv.com/svq/

Re: The Secret Service UK DVD (missing episodes)
My drive is region 1 and I ran out of switching regions times. How to use manual mode? First, depending on your drive, you may be able to reset it with a region-free firmware (i think the general site is rpc1.org , but Google has the answer) - this may help for the future (be careful though - there...

Re: The Secret Service UK DVD (missing episodes)
I buy a lot of region 2 DVDs and I have to make .mkv files in order to play them on my region. Can I assume that your drive is not set to Region 2? While MakeMKV attempts to work around it, there may be an error while it does so, preventing the entire disc from being read. If you have a different d...

Do you mean like the "Clear Log" option in the "View"->"Clear Log" menu at the top?

Re: BUG Report: Wrong optical drive from remote desktop
Your post was a little confusing, so I'll summarise (to confirm understanding): Currently, you have a desktop with a Blu-Ray drive, with MakeMKV installed on it. You also have a laptop. You remote connect to the desktop from the laptop, open the MakeMKV program on the desktop (inside the remote sess...
