Re: Anyone tried DVDFab Enlarger AI?

A friend of mine tested Topaz Video Enhance AI and it produced really good results. Give it a try. My GPU is too weak ^^

Re: [Feature Request] Retry writing data on network errors

The operating system should be doing the re-tries. But, if the retry count is exceeded, the OS will USUALLY close the resource as invalid. Sadly it does not retry. I updated one user smb share setting on my unraid server and this causes the smb service to restart. Exactly in the same moment when I ...

[Feature Request] Retry writing data on network errors

My destination path is a NAS and if I change some SMB settings or the ethernet cabling, it directly interrupts the ripping process: Error 'OS error - Unerwarteter Netzwerkfehler' occurred while writing data to 'M:/FilmeMakeMKV/Film (2016)/Film (2016) FSK16 DE EN IMDB7.3.mkv' at offset '2382364672' F...

Well of course it takes longer when there are corrupt or invalid files. Looks like the drive doesn't read the disc as good as the other one?
Oh yes, you are right. Strange. I will retry it.

Re: How long do you need to rip UHD Bluerays?

I did a "benchmark":

LG BH16NS55 1.03 needed 51:30 to rip Lucy UHD

Re: Non-Stop (2014) with Liam Neeson (NonStop)

I found the difference by playing both MKV files parallel in VLC. At around 15:00 the smartphone shows german text with file 00021.mpls and english text with 00022.mpls.

Re: Add DVD audio track to Blu-Ray Rip

the bigger problem can be, some parts of the movie are missing due to cuts on the DVD which are included on Blu-ray. Hopefully not. We will see. What do you think about pitching the audio to avoid getting a lower sound? This calculator suggests to correct the audio with SoX by pitching it up by 4.2...

Add DVD audio track to Blu-Ray Rip

I really like to have The Usual Suspects as HD rip. In my country it's only available as DVD. Now I like to buy the UK Blu-Ray and the local DVD, export the DVD audio track and import it through MKVToolNix into the Blu-Ray rip. Do you think this will cause any problems? For example lip sync / audio ...

[Feature Request] Manual selection of Blu-Ray segment files

Sometimes a disc contains multiple language versions of a movie. By that we have multiple options to determine the correct track. Sometimes the different segments are listed as separate titles, but most of the time we need to create a full disc backup. Instead I would like to rip specific segment nu...

Yes, but the backup on HDD can be used to create the mkv file by open the index.bdmv file. The fast track to create the wanted mkv file.
Yes, but it's still much slower because it backups really everything.
