Re: Version 1.9.5 installer cannot install
I believe this ended up being a bug. Delete the directory, and it should install properly. Or download the 1.9.7 installer from the main page.

The License Key is for Lifetime, not for a time period.

Re: 1.9.5 Windows Installation Error on Windows 8
Hi,
Please try uninstalling MakeMKV completely from the computer, then ensure the installation folder is deleted. Then, try installing it again as administrator (right-click -> Run as Administrator). This *should* fix the issue.

Thanks Mike!
Having just downloaded the 1.9.5 version, I am SO HAPPY that you can limit an instance of MakeMKV to an individual drive. It makes it much easier to work through discs. THANKS MIKE!!!!!!           :mr...

Re: [Feature Request] Renaming output files
Further to my last post, I think I may have stumbled on the 'sort of solution'. The 'File Name' option is only available if you first click on the title name for the Chapter/Selection in the left hand box. It would be far easier if this option was made permanently selectable no matter where you wer...

Re: [Feature Request] Renaming output files
Just to confirm - does everyone in this thread know about Expert mode?
View->Preferences->General->Expert Mode
It allows you to rename the files in MakeMKV on a title-per-title basis.

Re: more payment services
Having recently paid for MakeMKV as well, I know that one of the options for payment is PayPal. On the makemkv.com/buy page, at the bottom there is a "Payment Option" dropdown bar. Change it to PayPal, and you get the security of using it.

Windows Program to automatically move files once ripped
Hi All, Firstly, it may not be of much use for MakeMKV, but if you use Handbrake as well (or another encoder), it may be of use. Got a bit bored, and decided to write a folder monitor for handbrake / makemkv. Basically, it monitors an output folder for files with extensions .mkv, .mp4, and .m4v. It ...

Re: FAT32 size limit
In Windows, double check to see if the drive is set up for 'Quick Removal' or "Better Performance". In Windows 7: a) Open My Computer b) Right Click the Drive, and select properties c) Select the hardware tab, find the drive and click properties d) If UAC is enabled, on the first tab, sele...

Oh, ok. It's just weird to receive compliments on scripts rather than criticism. Thanks!Woodstock wrote:I was referring to exactly how you were releasing this - in source form. I was actually complimenting you on that.

Re: Windows Script to Remove "_T0x" at the end of the files.
It is always best, where possible, to present things like this in source form. At the very least, it gives people on other platforms than Windows an idea of what they could do themselves. An enhancement that would make sense is to do a string replacement on "_" with a space, before applyi...

Windows Script to Remove "_T0x" at the end of the files.
Hi All, Thought I'd share a simple script I wrote to remove the "_T00" part at the end of the files. It's Windows only, though. Usage is run the file, then enter the directory where the files are located, and press OK. It will recursively check the folders inside that folder, and any .mkv ...

Re: File save error
Hi, As soon as I saw the word Readyshare, I knew you were going to have issues. Netgear does not have the best File Sharing software in the world - it's actually crap. I'm in an ongoing 6-month support case with them for this very reason, starting out with an R7000, exchanging the R7000, and moving ...
