Re: "AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive" Issue
Do you have any BluRays that work with your original drive that you can try in the new drive?

Re: Rookie needs help - H2 create one output file?
I'm afraid not. And yes, it is incredibly annoying. As I understand it MakeMKV doesn't explicity set the subtitles to be on or off, and many players assume because they aren't off, they must be on. (Someone please correct me if this is wrong). MKVmergeGUI (part of mkvtoolnix) can easily fix this for...

Re: Rookie needs help - H2 create one output file?
I'm a complete rookie at dealing with Video. Wanted to rip my DVD & Blueray movies to have the accessible on my media center (using JR Mediacenter). I was recommened to store as mkv files and to use makemkv. Ripped my 1st DVD movie and it worked fine, except for that I got 6 output file (title1...

Re: DVD to MKV Help
Well, I went to get the usual suspects off the shelf to try MakeMKV on it tonight and it turns out I've never owned it on DVD... very strange, it is an excellent film and one I thought I'd owned for years. I must have rented/borrowed it.
Lets hope someone else can help with this disc.

Re: DVD to MKV Help
I have the usual suspects on DVD (R2) but not go round ripping it yet. Load each MKV into MediaInfo, it will identify which video/audio is available in each file. MKVmerge (part of MKVtoolnix) will allow you to join the seperate MKVs together. I'll move the Usual Suspects to the top of my queue, and...

Re: West Wing Problems
Heh. I was certain it was going to be a DVD authoring/mastering error and MakeMKV would have to work around another dodgy disc.mike admin wrote: Believe it or not, it's a bug in MakeMKV. It will be corrected certainly in a next version. There is no workaround for now.

Re: 1.6.7 release
With this release like 1.6.6 release it is not possible to decrypter bd disk. The only release that works is 1.6.3. But why you continue to release new versions that do not work? Just FYI. 1.6.6 successfully decrypted blu-ray discs for me. I haven't used 1.6.7 on a blu-ray as yet, but there are no ...

Re: sorting audio Streams
Hello. I want to backup Bluray to mkv with english and german audio and subtitles. Is there a way to set the sorting of the audio? E.g.: in the list of makemkv i have first an english and underneath a german audiostream, but i want the german audio to be first. Thanks for your help MakeMKV doesn't ...

Re: Can MakeMKV save only selected chapter(s) to the MKV out
You can use Handbrake for this, it does mean reencoding it, but if you pick one of the more basic presets it will output your specified chapter quite quickly.

Problem w/Space Above and Beyond. Disc 5, side a, title02
So far ripped 200+ DVDs without incident. MakeMKV is superb. However, Space Above and Beyond, Disc 5, side a, title02 is causing MakeMKV to error. Disc is Region 1 and my Pioneer BDR-205 is locked to region 2. (a Region free ISO created by DVDFab also fails to save title02). Drive is connected to a ...

Re: Disc access speed in 1.6.6
I'm currently ripping 24 Season 8 on blu-ray... disc 3 would not get any faster than 3MB/s until the last ten minutes or so of the rip when I got to 10MB/s. Except for the initial slow copy of small files, disc 4 has so far been at 23-26MB/s. Both discs are new, having been watched once on my Sony S...
