Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
Teddy, to me it sounds more like an interaction with the SATA controller. Can you please check to which this drive is connected. I had bad experiences with Marvell SATA controllers for additional ports. Is the drive connected to the main chipset? Which type? I'm pretty sure there is something relat...

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
Please elaborate, "not detected" means not detected in MakeMKV or windows doesn't see the drive at all? Is it an internal drive? What do you mean "motherboard sees the drive", do you see the SATA device but no SCSI? What happens if you go to device manager and right-click "...

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
Hi again, I've made several test with my unit BDR-S12UHT (1.01 FW version) with Libredrive mode enabled and sometimes, after rebooting Windows 11, device is not detected at all. I have to turn off/on PC in order to detect it and it is strictly related to libredrive, as motherboard always detects the...

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
Just a curiosity if I can ask. Are UHD svq dumps made with S12UHT as good as the ones made with LG drives?

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
When I'll find also a BDR-212UBK at the same price of S12-UHT (which I think they are the same device),
I'll be very happy to change the other LG drive too.
In the meantime, I'm enjoying the precious gift mike give us with Libredrive support also for Pioneer UHD drives.

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
Already done but, of course, I can't rip higher than 4x speed.mike admin wrote: ↑Thu Feb 17, 2022 3:57 pmYou can add it manually - lower-case "speed" + underscore + drive id from sdftool or MakeMKV log file.
Anyway, it's a great thing the Pioneer libredrive support. Thanks for your hard work.

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
Thanks as always my dear friend, I already have sdf v84 inside my APPDATA dir (inside _private_data.tar file). I've rolled back to a previous bios version on my motherboard as I was using latest beta (with new AGESA which could have some issues) and bdr-s12uht is working fine now and it is connected...

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
Here me back. Drive BDR-S12UHT properly mounted and with native 1.01 firmware. The strange thing is that after a reboot Windows doesn't see drive anymore. I've to turn my PC off and restart again (I'm investigating this issue). Furthermore I can't rip at any speed higher than 4x and MakeMKV doesn't ...

MakeMKV 1.16.2 translation --error--
@Mike
I've updated MakeMKV to latest 1.16.2 version but I see many GUI localization errors
which disappear only if I select the English interface language.
No issues at all with the old version (1.16.1).
