This “FIX” will NOT solve the dropout issue in KODI! KODI’s issue is a hard coded max bitrate value.

Re: 2020 Guide for Java?
Last weekend I wiped my iMac to the bare metal and installed Big Sur. I'm enjoying the clean experience so far, but when I tried to rip the Blu-ray for "Ava", MakeMKV couldn't open the disc at all. I've never seen such odd behaviour from the app in fact - it will try to scan the disc, the...

Re: Goodbye MKV
It has become too hard to continue to use this. Been a follower for years too. Can't find any registration numbers to use like you used to do. Can't buy it with PayPal (they say it's PayPal fault) and I'm not going to use my CC on a site that isn't secure and with a method unknown to me. Oh well, g...

Processing question
While attempting to save space on a backup drive, i removed non essential.m2ts files from a full disk backup. I inadvertently deleted a .m2ts that was part of the movie. While processing the backup with MakeMKV., the .mkv was created even though all the m2ts files listed in the playlist were not pre...

Re: Ripping Dolby Atmos into MKV
@Domy94
the Kodi High Bitrate audio issue is in fact a seperate issue as it has a hardcoded ceiling. i tried your tool on frozen II, and the same issue is present as before. the file exceeds the max bitrate, hence the dropouts

Re: Ripping Dolby Atmos into MKV
Hello, I've just started today with makemkv. Can anyone please help me how to extract a file (Remux, UHD, True HD 7.1 Atmos)? I already have about 20Movies and only 2 of them display in my soundbar the Atmos. Already tested with some Atmos demos and its working. The only problem is with the torrent...

Ripping Dolby Atmos into MKV
From what i have been reading on the kodi forums. The issue is with ffmpeg’s max bitrate cap for truehd/atmos. Currently 10Mbit and the truehd spec is max 18Mbit. It’s not a mkv encoding issue
