Hello everyone, I just thought I would write and see if anyone is having any issues. It's been a while since I'm made any updates the application. I am still in the process of writing the .NET version of the application. I haven't had much time lately to work on it, but I'll get it done soon. Let m...

Re: Movies2MKV Converter
Hey rc4ester, this is a very great tool, well done. But how is it possible to get all the audio tracks (incl. Dolby True-HD, DTS-HD AM, etc.) into the mkv-file as default? In Movies2MKV is no option to choose. In MakeMKV I have to set this for every title. Regards from Germany Hoppel Hello hoppel11...

Re: Movies2MKV Converter
Ok. I have it working now. I uninstalled my Java and re installed it. Program is working now! Thank you for your help rc4ester. I do not know if changing the program over to .net instead of Java is good or bad? What are the benefits of .net over Java? Well, .NET will be more native to Windows and i...

Re: Movies2MKV Converter
Also, I did change the startup app so that when you do the debug, it will write to the screen as well. You could un-install, re-download, and install it again... then just run the debug command from the command prompt.Crapgame wrote:There is no such file called AppData in the location you specified?

Re: Movies2MKV Converter
Yes, it's a hidden folder, you can just add it to the path on Windows Explorer. If you click on the path bar, at the end put: \AppDataCrapgame wrote:There is no such file called AppData in the location you specified?
It should load it up.

Re: Movies2MKV Converter
I applied your method but the command prompt shows nothing. It simply goes to the next line: C:\Program Files (x86)\Movie2MKV Converter>movies2mkv.exe - debug Nothing happens? There are no errors... There won't be an error to the screen, but it should write to an error file here: C:\Users\<your id>...

Re: Movies2MKV Converter
On the command prompt, change to the install directory and type: Movies2MKV.exe -debugCrapgame wrote:Please forgive me. I am not good with computer language.
How do I use the debug in the command prompt?
Let me know. If you still have issues, look at the previous post in regards to debug.

Re: Movies2MKV Converter
Unfortunately I am not having the same luck. I may be downloading from the wrong location. When I download and run I get a blank command prompt and nothing happens. If I try to run the program again it displays a quick blank command prompt and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? Jonno seems to ...

Re: Movies2MKV Converter
All, Well so far, so good. Cranked the thread count up to 5 and made sure I'd got makemkv preferences setup. Set the converter hunting movies and it successfully came back with 54 off my first disk. I've hit the convert button and am watching the performance monitor. On a 3.2 GHz AMD Phenom II hex ...

Re: Movies2MKV Converter
Ok, I have the new fix out there. For those of you I've been helping, crapgame and jonno, I believe I have fixed the start-up issue. Please uninstall the version you have and re-download the newest version. When you install that one, it should work.
