Re: doesn't work with 'First Blood'

Please provide some more info on the disc - what is disc region, what country it was released? Also it looks like you copied log lines incorrectly - please try again and cut&paste the log.

Re: Metadata in MKV/suggestion

Please look at mkvtoolnix - these are official tools that allow full MKV editing. MKV files support all metadata you mentioned. MakeMKV tries to extract all available metadata but for blu-ray it usually means only the disc name. Very few DVD discs have metadata on them.

LPCM is supported in latest version - but only for DVD discs. LPCM for blu-ray discs will be available very soon.

Re: Issues but no errors.

this is probably some DVD-specific issue. Thanks for letting know, we'll try to obtain one of the discs for testing. By the way, is the title length reported correct? I mean in "Title #0 was added (27 cell(s), 1:12:16)" does 1:12:16 sounds right or it is reduced length?

Re: Subtitles not synchronized

there is an option to correct timecodes in mkvmerge - I guess you should manually shift subtitles a bit earlier.

Re: Vista 64: No usable optical drive

the error is very confusing. is it internal or usb drive? the error says that optical drive is not an MMC drive - something really strange.

The app to demux m2ts is called tsmuxer and there is a linux version. Once demuxed, mkvtoolnix can mut a mkv file.

LPCM-HD will be supported soon.

Re: MakeMKV for Linux and VC-1 video

I see - it is apparently the state of VC1 on linux. Were you ever able to play any VC-1 MKV on your box sucessfully? For example, if you demux M2TS file and create MKV out of it with mkvtoolnix, will it work? You also mentioned that M2TS file played fine for you - what player did you use, vlc or mpl...

Re: Problem converting BD

Thank you for clarification. Apparently this is a incorrectly created BD rip - it uses mpeg4 video stream that does not conform to blu-ray specification. It is unlikely that MakeMKV will ever support this. Most players will probably play it fine though.

Re: Problem converting BD

It says that your blu-ray disc contains non-conformant mpeg4 video stream. What kind of input is that? It it decrypted blu-ray or custom-made avchd disc?

Re: DTS-Audio

Hi Mike, thank you for answer. Today I have one example: Shine A Light (Stones, Scorsese). Only the extras have audio. (simply stereo) Some more Blu-rays I will test as soon as possible. [update] next try: "King Kong" with Extended Edition DTS (the german track) is not supported next: &qu...
