2D Version is OK.
3D Version starts to load and even shows the titles in the background as the app crashes. Debug log attached; can anyone help?

Re: ripping uhd 4k the martian
I think the rips so far were from HD SDI recording devices so not proper rips. PowerDVD and Pioneer have finally announced a PC software solution so the chances of proper rips is becoming much more likely in future.

Hi Mike, mike admin wrote:By any chance, can you try the latest version (1.10.1) and see if it marks the correct title?
1.10.1 isn't marking the correct title for my European disc.

Re: Problematic HD-DVDs
I'm guessing you are talking about the USA Universal release and not the German Concorde release (?). USA release has been OK for a long time.Better late than never I suppose but my 12 Monkeys disk ripped OK using MakeMKV 1.8.5 and xbox HD-DVD drive

Re: Problematic HD-DVDs
I know this is old but I'm wondering if there's a solution to the Riddick problem. The main feature doesn't show up in the list of titles. i also have this problem. I have the same issue with Riddick but the vast Majority of Universal releases are fine. I noticed it is particular publishers that do...

Re: Rip Station: HDD Bottleneck? (Your Opinion, Please)
I get good performance to an SMB share with four BD Drives. It peaks near the end at about 140Mbytes/sec with BDs (Running an 802.3AD gigabit pair into a Samba NAS). The main problem is the slightly inconsistent read reliability with about 1 disc in 20 with riplock disabled but this is a drive issue...

Problems with South Park Season 13 DVD - EU
The individual episodes dont appear in the Makemkv title list to rip seperately with these discs.
IFO and Log for disc 1 attached, any chance of a fix?

Re: Ripping BD with MakeMKV on Atom/Zacate
Makemkv is not usually cpu intensive and the SATA performance of Zacate is good. Just get a decent BDRom to go in the Zacate system, MakeMKV will work fine - no problem at all.

Re: 1.6.4 vs 1.6.3 - disc read speed
rcork, I have the exact same drives as you and had to apply original firmware with riplock in place to make 1.6.4 work reliably. I still get better rates than you though; 3-4.5X with 1.6.4 and unmodified 1.00-03 firmware. I got the same issues with my LG HDDVD combo drive too; it seems the faster ri...

Re: Where can I download 1.6.3?
I think the faster ripping of 1.6.4 might be causing more drive errors. I have 2 LG CH10LS20. With the 1.0.0 firmware with riplock removed it works fine with 1.6.3 but not 1.6.4. I updated to 1.0.3 with riplock still enabled and it now works with 1.6.4. I'm only ripping new purchases now so speed i...
