Problem with July key / 1.10.0 version

First off, thank you for such a great program. I fully plan on purchasing the program, but at the current moment, I am using the beta key. I am having a problem with the 1.10.0 version saying that it is expired (and removed). I have gotten the most recent key from the Beta Thread. I don't understand why it is expired when there is one more day in July left? Any help? Thanks in advance.

Setting your system date to 7/20 should allow you to start MakeMKV; you can go back to the current date after MakeMKV is running.

Now we get to wait for Mike to update the key... He's already said there is a new version coming out "soon" to fix the Java issue in 1.10.

Dear Friends

Will there be a new key for the end of August 2016 or maybe MakeMKV isn't Beta anymore?

Sincerely

Beta keys ALWAYS expire after 2 months. And usually Mike will replace them within a few days, OR will release a new version that includes a new key.

In either case, the key found in this message will be updated: http://makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1053

Also, there's re-installing the latest download; it usually includes a key, which could have a later expire than the one in the beta thread. In this case, it looks like the OS X download has a key that expires Oct 10.

BTW, one can also buy a license...

Well that's cool. Hopefully he'll update the key in the thread for us poor linux folk (the key is *not* included for us). Just blew a ton of money on an arcade cabinet, I think the wife would shoot me where I stood if I paid for this today. Maybe next month.

Actually, I'm not sure that's correct. My version expires Oct 10th, but that's not the same as the license. The key from the thread enables additional "shareware" functionality (ripping from protected BDs for instance).

Yeah good point. I was only doing dvds earlier today not blu rays.
