My Bluray drive is not compatible with MakeMKV

Hello,
my Bluray drive is not compatible with MakeMKV.
I can use my Bluray drive with DVDFab and VLC to copy or rip my Bluray, on Windows and Linux.
But I don't know why MakeMKV does not like my BR drive, please help!

Far more helpful than the AACS dumps would be the debug logging information, which would tell us more about what MakeMKV saw, as well as what version of MakeMKV you're running.

The fact that you HAVE AACS dumps to post says that MakeMKV is talking to your drive.

I joined you the log file. I have no more access to my WIndows computer, so I made it from my Linux Ubuntu 18.04. The Bluray drive can be connected to USB 3.

Do you need others files? info?

There is nothing in the log that indicates that your drive can't be used with MakeMKV; It seems to be reading and communicating with it just fine.

The problem is with the disk. MakeMKV needs to be able to read the directory portion of the disk to create the decryption key for reading the disk, but it encounters an error. No key means that the drive will refuse to read the disk.

I obtained the same result with MAKEMKV on all my Blu Ray discs.
Is it possible that my drive has been blocked by a Blu Ray security or protection?
My Blu Ray drive works with DVDFAB but perhaps this software uses not the same method as MAKEMKV?

"All disks" usually indicates a drive key revocation, which would be unusual for 1.14.2, because the latest "known" release of AACS, v66, is taken care of in 1.14.2. It is possible that a newer version has come out. Please check your MakeMKV data directory (pointed to by Preferences->General, Data Directory) for files that start with "MKB". The "_vXX" in the name lists the first disk MakeMKV encountered with that version of AACS.

Example, the highest version one of my machines has encountered is v63, and the file "MKB_v63_THREELEAVES_D1.tgz" means it was on a disk named "THREELEAVES_D1".

Do you have any files with names higher than "MKB_v66"?

Hmm, what's that? Typo error?

Hello Makemkv devs, still no clue about this incompatibility? Do you need some others logs or tests?

I suggest sending a email message to support@makemkv.com with a link to this topic; that will bring it to the attention of the author, and he can ask for what he needs to answer this question. What you've posted so far says it SHOULD be working, but it obviously isn't.

Naw, I'm not even in the same hemisphere as Mike... I was just tagged as a moderator because I hang out here a lot, read everything, remember a lot of it, and was familiar with phpBB.

I do not see anything unusual (aside from the fact that AACS auth fails for no reason). The drive is rather old (firmware date is 2010), but it should work. Is this an USB drive?

It is an USB3 drive. DVDFab and AnyDVD can read my blu ray with this USB3 drive, but not MAKEMKV.
