Which Mac Blu-ray Player Software?

I have the need to view my Blu-ray Disc backups such that I can see the menus as it would normally play in a regular BD player. Can you recommend a software player that will allow me to view my BD backups on my Mac?

I was demoing one application (Blu-ray Player Pro) which looked promising at first but some fail with the “Warning: Your Blu-ray Player requires an update message…"

How can this issue be avoided? Is there another software program that should work better?

BTW: I’m trying to play the movies entitled “Let’s Be Cops”

Thanks,

R

Don't you have a software player so that you can review the disc without the disc loaded?

BTW: my retail copy of Let's Be Cops does not show extras via hardware BD player.... but MakeMKV did reveal Special Features. Have you seen that before?

Thanks

R

You should never allow "official" software to update the firmware in your drives - you will lose capabilities if you do, because the "updates" are to enforce stricter standards.
