Apple TV 4k Not DTS Compatible?

I noticed on my Plex dashboard that my direct play raw MKV or HB_H.264 or HB H.265 content is being transcoded to another format for my Apple TV 4K. So, what are people doing that allow the full uncompressed audio (DTS-HD MA) to make it to my Pioneer SC-55 AVR?

Nit pick on part of your question, DTS HD MA is not "full uncompressed audio". If you have the codec playback support, it's lossless, but it isn't uncompressed. But that's only if the player supports it. Most simply play the lossy DTS portion of the track.

Thanks for the clarification. What client setup do I need to get the full quality DTS audio? I’m currently using Plex Media Server on a Mac Mini serving AppleTv 4K which I’ve recently learned does not deal with DTS at all. Also, I don’t think my pioneer sc55 knows about DTS HD, I need to check.

So what players support lossless full quality DTS HD playback?
