WD TV HD Chapters

* Hello,

excuse me if I make a common issue, but I've searched in the forum and have found only general chapters bug/issues.

I own the mediaplayer wirtten in the subject, the WD TV HD with the latest official firmware (1.02.03), and I have some problems with the chapters selection, I mean:
With the last firmwares release, the TV HD is able to switch through chapters using MKV files (it's not possible with ISO/DVD VOB)... I've used MakeMKV to convert (no re-encoding) DVD/ISO files to MKV but I can't switch through chapters... When I select a different chapter, the WD simply ignore it and continue to playing the same step...

Do you think the problem is present bec they are not native encoded MKV files and just converted ?

This is most likely the player problem.

Hi Fabio,
the WD TV HD doesn't support chapters. I think it will come soon.
Today I loaded the new firmware 1.02.07 and now the VC-1 Codec is supported and subtitles too. For all of them, who ripped Blu-rays with MakeMKV it's interested, I think.
