To make the naming easier (to avoid opening the movie with an additional player) it would be nice if MakeMKV could display the subtitles itself. This means I click on a subtitle track and have an option to display the first 10 (?) subtitle images of this track (this avoids loading the complete file as SubtitleEdit does it. By that we are (hopefully) able to determine every subtitle track and name it.
In combination with MakeMKV cddb this would be a huge time safer.
Additional ideas to let MakeMKV automatically determine subtitle names:
1.) forced subtitles should be named automatically
2.) if MakeMKV is additionally able to OCR the subtitles, SDH subtitles could be automatically determined by counting the brackets as many (only?) SDH subtitles contain them to describe sounds (f.e. >10 brackets found = SDH subtitle)
3.) if MakeMKV is additionally able to OCR the subtitles, comment subtitles could be automatically determined by checking keywords like "my name is" or "director", "directing" or "actor" as those words occur really often in the first 10 subtitles of a comment. The words/phrase list should be editable through the user so he can adds words/phrases in other languages.
