Any idea what this means

Post by 2wicky »

Been having issue getting any discs to decrypt this evening though i was able to rip them without issue this morning.

I tried ripping a disc that i ripped yesterday to see if maybe the discs i was trying to rip this evening were to new but got the same errors.

it either says Automatic HK downloading is disabled or failed. or Automatic SDF downloading is disabled or failed.

as soon as i open makemkv i get the below message

The new version 1.17.4 is available for download at http://www.makemkv.com/download/
Downloading latest SDF to C:\Users\2wicky/.MakeMKV ...
DEBUG: Code 4279336995 at \:[I=LN|ZU).L)':121262877
Automatic SDF downloading is disabled or failed.
DEBUG: Code 152 at =F2KDAz(W(mT{p2@:213144911

i tried the link to update the app but it brings up some cloudflare error so i downloaded it elsewhere. That didnt make a difference so i reverted back to older software.

Below is what i get when i try to rip uhd discs

Using LibreDrive mode (v06.3 id=64754CF46FCA)
Using direct disc access mode
Loaded content hash table, will verify integrity of M2TS files.

Mike, the developer is having some domain registration issues so all keys, downloads etc are currently not working. Should hopefully be resolved in a day or so...
Cheers :D

I was having trouble opening a John Wick - Chapter 4 disc last night which I now know was associated with the server being down. I am wondering if all HK references/downloads are online only or is there a way to save this key directory locally to minimize this type of hangup in the future. My understanding is the software references hkdata.fairuse.org? I'm not familiar with what is happening with all this software-wise, so please direct me to the right place if there is already a post about this. Thanks.

I’m not sure if we now have access to the keys but I’m trying to rip John wick 4 and I’m receiving the hk disabled or failed error and I know that it’s enabled. I’ve tried multiple times and it’s unsuccessful

It worked for me a little while ago. You may have DNS issues. Try switching DNS servers or flushing your cache.

Downloading of Hash Keys is showing as failed or disabled once again. Tried flushing dns and restarting gateway to no avail. Anyone else experiencing this?
