And now you can "Stand By Me" to that list. DeUHD says it's supported, but every time I use the trial, it says "wait 1 business day, and we'll have this ready" And almost two weeks later, and no word.

The competition is on. After DeUHD now DVD Fab announced that they will decrypt AACS 2.1 with their new release 11.5.0.1 today.

Mike said "It will take at least one MakeMKV version update to decrypt these" on Aug 28.

https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic ... =15#p77710

MakeMKV v1.14.5 was released on Sep 6.

Have any of the 'are we there yet?' crowd actually tried any of these discs since then?

Renting and copying would be stealing. Buy the discs.

Since DVD Fab is using the DeUHD engine to decrypt, it isn't much of a surprise that they also can do AACS 2.1 movies.

DVD Fab stated that they are using DeUHD engine, but that the titles would only be added to DVD Fab some time (I think a week was mentioned) after DeUHD had added support for a disk.

Don't know if DVD Fab now have their own engine, but at least thats the way it has been so far.

DVDFab free trial will unencrypt 3 UHD disks; not sure if it watermarks them, am trying it now with Iron Man trilogy (AACS2.1).

The recently released Iron Man trilogy from Disney is NOT AACS 2.1. You have incorrect information if that is what you are implying. Please do not spread misinformation. There's already enough of it.

The actual discs affected have been thoroughly discussed in this forum as well as other places in the web if you wish to know. Google and the forum search function works. Use it.

Mike, you're a wizard and I bow to you. Any update on when we'll be seeing 2.1 support? Just got a 4K projector and my Fury UHD disc is smirking at me on the shelf...
