Thats a weird one you have the right fw but makemkv is not enabling libredrive
in that state i dont think any UHD disk will work
try deleting privatedata.tar in make mkv data directory and try again

I successfully ripped The Dark Knight trilogy UHDs last night, so I think the problem is specific to this disc.

I tried renaming "_private_data.tar" to "_private_data (backup).tar" and ripping the disc again, it failed but this time I got a slightly different log:

MakeMKV v1.14.5 win(x64-release) started
Downloading latest SDF to C:\Users\<deleted>/.MakeMKV ...
Using direct disc access mode
LibreDrive firmware support is not yet available for this drive (id=F8B3C9080B22)

Downloading latest HK to C:\Users\<deleted>/.MakeMKV ...
Saved AACS dump file as C:\Users\<deleted>/.MakeMKV/MKB20_v61_The_Matrix_19A7.tgz
LibreDrive compatible drive is required to open this disc - video can't be decrypted.
Failed to open disc

I'm going to email the MKB20_v61_The_Matrix_19A7.tgz file.

just for fun try another UHD disk it is complaining about libredrive not an unknown volume key this is quite weird
might have to try the old uninstall and reinstall reboot if you haven't

So uninstall / reboot / reinstall didn't fix anything.

If it helps, I found the MakeMKV_log.txt file.

Hhmm okay well it's weird that it still says no libredrive support on 3.00 but works for Batman I guess 3.00 on your drive does not support libredrive didn't know that the best thing to do then is to flash the mk version for your drive and then it should work

For what it's worth I'm trying to use MakeMKV on The Matrix (4K UHD boxset trilogy), and am getting the following...

This is the first UHD it couldn't handle. Is there anything I can do?

Email the AACS dump and wait for it to be supported.

To be more clear, your error is not related to the one the OP is getting. Forum search function works, use it. That particular error has been discussed hundreds of times already and how to proceed.

I tried it again last night, and for some reason, it worked. Why would that be?
I used the forum search and felt like I was drowning in a sea of answers. Sometimes one needs a little help. I appreciate the assistance.

New disc, not yet supported until someone emails Mike the AACS dump so he can extract the key and add to the database.

Most times, reading the first post on pinned topics already gives you the answer.
