This disc is making me a little concerned.
Up to now I haven't dived into the deep deep depths of Dolby Vision playback from a file. I have an Nvidia Shield Pro running Kodi using an mkv envelope and DV is not there yet.
I've figured that my tv is only 49", my eyes are less than 20-20, and DV is just the frosting on an already good cake.
I do have a DV mp4 demo file that is pure DV and is therefore unwatchable unless DV is used.
I have read forum comments on blu-ray.com that the DV proportion of this disc is high versus the "base" HDR10 and do wonder whether its absence might be noticable in my current setup, or maybe just noticably falling short.
I will give it a go on my current setup (without DV) and hopefully be satisfied enough. But how long before DV becomes effectively mandatory?
