Just wondering on the subject of drives. How can I find a Pioneer drive with older firmware installed? What firmware would that be? The thread says someone in my region/area. I live in the U.S., Colorado.
It would be nice to have an external drive that is USB capable. I already have an LG internal.
Thanks

Received Oppenheimer UHD today, from Amazon (Germany).
Got unknown Volume Key MKB20_v77_Oppenheimer_3CB4 on Linux (MakeMKV 1.17.5 linux(x64-release)

It seems like others are already this disc using the same exact key?
My drives are LG BH16NS55 flashed to WH16NS60 1.02, able to rip other UHD discs properly.

You might not be able download the necessary keys. See this thread: hkdata.crabdance.com or hkdata.fairuse.org not found

Been checking this for some time now.
It really seems to not fetch keys, but I don't have fancy stuff in place that would interfere.

I'll reply to that thread though, as it seems the keys are already there for this UHD :)

for now you must buy through a seller in your region with old FW.
I'm in the US. Where could I find someone to sell me a 4K Pioneer drive (preferably an internal drive) with the old FW?

Answering here or in a PM is fine if you prefer. Thanks.

My Oppenheimer 4k didn't rip yesterday due to missing volume key, I submitted the dump file and it works today. Just posting here for posterity.

Just to post it here, I had no issues ripping this disc with my LG BU40N drive.
