No PM reply thus far, so I guess he's too busy to check & reply. I'll sign-in every now and again for any answer, but will continue with trying it myself. Besides, working up a procedure is good experience. Thanks (and to everyone) for the help -- awesome work guys!

Did you have to flash downgrade the firmware on your drive to get it to recognize 4K discs? I just purchased an Archgon HD 81075 drive and am wondering if I need to flash it once I get it?

If it has 1.01 or higher, then yes, you will need to flash it back to 1.00.
