Just got my archgon bu40n. Came with 1.01 but I used my flash tool (front end for makemkv sdftool) to downgrade to 1.00. I can see why this is a popular little drive!

Hi, I'm somewhat new to make mkv and I tried out the application but it keeps saying something like "Error #5." I use a BP50NB40 and it's updated to 1.03. I want to use makemkv to rip my 4k copy of Alita: Battle Angel. What do I do to make it work?

because 1.03 is encrypted use makemkv cmd or sdf tool

@Billycarr11
Is there a specific place where I can find one of these tools? Or could I just do a google search?

So I've tried the sdf tool, but I keep getting "Command produced error code 0x8f056103"

I did and I do have makemkv installed. It’s v1.15.2. Does it have to be v1.15.3?

I have an LG WH16NS40, tried to jump straight to firmware DE_LG_WH16NS40_1.02_NS50. Kept getting "Update Failure #4". I then started the app and selected mk-firmware-park-20200720/MK/HL-DT-ST/WH16NS40-NS50, then selected HL-DT-STBD-RE_WH16NS40-NS50-1.05-NM00900-212005061440, selected the drive that matched and clicked start. BOOM, install was successful. I was then able to re-run the program and select firmware DE_LG_WH16NS40_1.02_NS50, once again, BOOM, it was successful!

Thank you for this program and your continued dedication to it!

that would have never been a problem if you read my guide and flashed to WH16NS60 1.02mk from the start
