WH14NS40 drives no longer reading UHD discs?

I'm not sure what happened, but last night as I was making backups of some UHDs both drives (LG WH14NS40) no longer recognize UHD discs, but in a very odd way. If I insert a normal 1080p Blu-ray, the drive spins up and recognizes it. If it's a UHD disc, once the tray closes, you hear the drive (either one) accessing it, stop, accessing it, stop... then nothing after six times or so. It's almost like the sleep bug, if that makes sense?

This is running on Windows 10 Pro, the drives are flashed correctly. I've been using one for over a year, and the second about six months. No recent Window updates, or firmware updates to the drives.
