ASUS BW-16D1H-U downgrade

hello,

I'm in need of help regarding downgrading my BW-16D1H-U with firmware E114
cant seem to get it to work in anyway although i removed the bd drive and inserted it internaly to my computer. and booted to IDE mode.
could any of u guys help me out?

The -U drive is not UHD-capable. It doesn't matter if you pull it out of the enclosure and put it in your computer; the hardware drive is different from the other "BW16" drives.

Do not try flashing it, because there aren't any compatible images to flash.

yeah i noticed. will purchase an compatible one when my uhd library gets larger

Use it before you brick your drive (or any other drive model) you try to flash. Compatibility for this drive has been discussed dozens of times over already. It could save you a lot of headaches.
