let me know if that works i was always skeptical of those, plus no way to put alcohol on the lens itself with the disk. but hey if it works i'll get one myself to add to the layers of steps i take to try and save drives

No it did nothing for my problem despite running multiple times. But that’s not say a faulty drive was confirmed as my problem anyway, could easily be something else.

I just downloaded the latest version of the software and my drive is now ripping 4K discs again. So there was never anything wrong with my drive, it is the software that changed. And changed back again apparently :D

So for example I ripped Kingsman a year ago, couldn't rip it under the previous version and now can again :roll:
