Hello,
I have an LG WH16NS40 that came with 1.04 firmware. Following the "Ultimate UHD Drives Guide Updated 2020" by Billycar11 I have successfully managed to sidegrade my firmware to WH16NS60 1.02MK and everything works so far. LibreDrive is enabled, I've ripped about a half dozen 4k Blu-rays and everything looks good. So my question is this, is there any reason to continue flashing my drive to the WH16N40 1.03MK firmware version? (This was my original intent, but after the sidegrade flash I just wanted to check if things were working) Do I stay with the sidegrade, are there pros/cons of having a different model firmware than my drive?

No that will only be a downgrade you will gain the sleep bug and have slower rip speeds
