Verbatim 43890 External Slimline Mobile USB 3.2 Blu-ray Writer UHD Problem

Just had this delivered, it reads BluRay's no problem but when I insert any UHD Discs it does not read them, it just says "No Disc Inserted". I was using an Asus 5.25 internal drive until it decided to completely shred a UHD copy of Dunkirk on me. The UHD's I tested, Arrival and Blade Runner have already been ripped with the Asus drive before it went doolally.

The 43890 (BDR-UD03) is a blu-ray drive, not a UHD drive. The 43888 is the UHD model (containing a BDR-UD04)

Ah understood, so there's no way to get this drive to read UHD Discs never mind decrypt them. I think I'll send it back and order one of the recommended ones from your site.
