LG Be14nu40 - Sudden LibreDrive Error

Greetings,
I have been using the LG BE 14NU40 for years to rip Blu-rays using MakeMKV without issue. Yesterday I attempted to rip a Blu-ray and got this:
libredrive firmware support is not yet available for this drive (id=dbeafe7ad1c0)
The drive is using the same FW version (1.00) that is has all along. The error code says the the download necessary to enable either "failed or is disabled".
Not really sure how to proceed. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
