Hi, I currently have an LG BH16NS40 SVC NS40 optical drive with firmware 1.03, do you know whether there will ever be fix to enable this drive to be LibreDrive compatible (as MKV shows LibreDrive Status as Possible but not yet enabled)? Or is it not likely to ever happen for this drive?

Possibly but whatever you do don't flash that drive to the currently available firmware.
Not really much benefit to libredrive besides getting around aacs revocation but even then the program is updated in a timely manner to get around it. Your drive won't ever read UHD if that's what you are looking for.
