Archgon MD-8107S-U3YC-UHDB-K

Post by TonyTheTiger »

Hi There,

I have been reading through the forum and I know there are already dozens of posts on this, but I think that in itself makes it all the more confusing for a newbie like myself.

I was hoping someone could provide me with a link to the correct software for flashing the following drive, I want to make absolutely sure I use the correct and latest one.

Archgon MD-8107S-U3YC-UHDB-K
Thanks in advance for your help

Tony

Hi there,

I have the same Drive MD-8107S-U3YC-UHDB-K!! Further I am also new and have never flashed a drive before!
May I ask the question how you flash this drive? How do I get the flashed version installed on the drive?? Is the BU40N-N the right folder or the BU40N-U??
Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the incredible quick answer! You guys are awesome!! I paid close attention to and took the time to read the guide info and post on how to flash my drive. The follwing post was my rescue https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic ... B+K#p73185.
I used Modified Asus Patcher to flash it with the BU40N-U, respectively the HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BU40N-U101-MM01201-211711301153.bin.
IT WORKED PERFECTLY!!! Now I can ripp 4k Blu Rays.
