Issue with WH14NS40

Hello, I updated my LG Drive WH14NS40 to firmware patch 1.05 today, but now it won't recognize any discs. Would anyone be able to assist me in getting this back up an running? I used firmware HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_WH14NS40-NS50-1.05-NM00900-212005061444.

Looks fine. Did you reboot your PC?

How long ago (what year?) was this drive originally purchased?

Can you post a picture of the physical label that is on the drive?

Yes, I rebooted the drive. The only issue is that it keeps showing "No disc" even though I have a DVD or Blu-Ray in the drive.

I would have to take the drive out of the tower to get an image of the drive, I bought it a while ago, probably close to the release date (so 8 years ago).

Well there is your problem I guess you dident read the uhd guide that says 2015+ and mt1959.
You should be able to recover it with sdf tool just select recovery and old ns40 fw
