Remove LibreDrive firmware and revert to stock?

I have an LG WH16NS40 that I bought last year which came with the 1.04 firmware. I flashed it with the WH16NS60 1.02 LibreDrive enabled firmware from this site. Since then it has been unstable. I can rip one or two discs and then it throws errors on the next disc and I have to power cycle my system in order to be able to eject the disc and get it working again. I'm seeing messages like this:

MSG:2003,16777216,3,"Error 'Internal error - Operation result is incorrect (132)' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00014.m2ts' at offset '5858131968'","Error '%1' occurred while reading '%2' at offset '%3'","Internal error - Operation result is incorrect (132)","/BDMV/STREAM/00014.m2ts","5858131968"

I updated the MakeMKV config file and added a line for the drive

sdf_Stop = "HL-DT-ST_BD-RE__WH16NS60_1.02_211810291936_KL7K36A4851"

and now it is working normally again and I have been able to read several discs in a row with no problems.

I'm not currently ripping any 4K discs, so I don't think I need LibreDrive at present and the software seems to work fine for regular blu rays without it.

How do I flash my drive back to a stock firmware?

No point just puts you at risk of bricking it
Leave it as is

Do you have speed control enabled? Is this still happening?
