Hi, I use MakeMKV on a headless Debian system with a purchased license. I put the license in "~/.MakeMKV/settings.conf" but I still receive the message "This application version is too old. Please download the latest version at http://www.makemkv.com/ or enter a registration key to continue using the current version." I tried with version 1.14.1 and 1.14.2.

What is the solution to this problem?

I use MakeMKV on a headless system. So this solution won't work for me...

I wonder if there is a solution to this by now? I'm going through this trouble every three months even though I have a purchased license. Can someone please tell me what I need to do to get MakeMKV just running on a headless system without breaking every three months?

Yes, I installed MakeMKV exactly as outlined in the forum entry.
Yes, the settings.conf contains the purchased key and lives in ~/.MakeMKV
Yes, the same user as above executes MakeMKV

What am I missing?
